KARACHI:

The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leadership cannot be intimidated by the reopening of ‘fictitious corruption cases’ against them.

“The PPP leadership had faced such trumped-up charges of corruption in the past that remain unproven till this day,” PPP’s Deputy Information Secretary Sharjeel Inam Memon said in a statement on Friday.

Sharjeel Memon, who is also the information minister of Sindh, said that his party would fight these graft charges in the court.

“Farooq H Naek will continue to represent the PPP leadership in these corruption cases,” he added.
