PML-N lawyer: Randhawa’s body to be exhumed for post mortem

Body of the deceased president of PML-N lawyers’ wing, who was allegedly killed by a Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) activist, would be exhumed on Friday to conclude investigation.


The district central judicial magistrate had endorsed the police request on Thursday for a post-mortem of Advocate Naimat Ali Randhawa who had also served as special public prosecutor in the anti-terrorism courts.


A seven member team, headed by the police surgeon, will exhume the body of Advocate Randhawa from the Paposhnagar graveyard, which was earlier buried without a post-mortem.


The lawyer and his son Tauqeer Ali Randhawa were fired at on their way home on September 26 in Nazimabad area. They were rushed to Abbasi Shaheed hospital where elder Randhawa succumbed to injuries.

What a pity that even the dead body of a legal professional is still waiting for justice!!
