Pakistan’s Danish Atlas khan picked up his fifth PSA title by winning the First Insurance Open $5,000 Tournament as he defeated Kuwait’s Ammar Altamimi 3-1 in Jordan.
Top seed Danish was involved in a tough first set, which his opponent won 11-13. However, Danish hit back to win the remaining sets and sealed his supremacy with game scores of 11-13, 11-8, 11-7 and 11-7.
Meanwhile, his brother Aamir Atlas moved into the quarter-finals of a $15,000 event in Malaysia by defeating qualifier Addeen Idrakie 3-2 at the Royal Lake Club. In another match, Tayyab Aslam stunned Khwaja Adil Maqbool with a straight-sets win with a scoreline of 11-5, 11-5 and 11-5.
