Man shot: Irrigation officer murdered in robbery
An officer of the Sindh Irrigation Department was shot during a robbery on Tuesday night in Hala, Matiari district.
HYDERABAD:
An officer of the Sindh Irrigation Department was shot during a robbery on Tuesday night in Hala, Matiari district. Sub-engineer Anwar Memon, 34, was shot once in the chest while resisting the robbers, according to SHO Hala Aslam Bulo. Memon's death caused the town to remain shut on Wednesday to protest the killing. The police have yet to register an FIR.
