Crackdown: Law enforcers arrest 59 suspects in separate raids

In different operations carried out by the  law enforcers on Wednesday night, 59 suspects were arrested in possession of several weapons.


Rangers’ spokesperson said, the officials conducted raids in Bizerta Lines, Afshani Gali, Nipa Chowrangi area, Matric Board Office area, Disco Bakery, Ali Basti, Frontier Colony, Sector-6/E Orangi Town, Banaras Chowk, Nishtar Basti, Gadap Town, Model Colony, Lassi Goth, Dalmia and Ghagar Phattak.

Rangers also carried out snap checking in Hassan Square, Usmanabad, Super Highway and Sunset Boulevard, the spokesperson added. Most of the suspects were linked with Lyari gang war, political parties and banned religious outfits, he said.

The west zone police arrested 17 suspects, east zone police caught 10 suspects and the south zone police arrested three suspects.
