Abduction foiled: Alleged kidnapper arrested

SHERGARH: Police recovered a three-year-old child on Wednesday, just 20 hours after he was abducted. The alleged kidnapper was also arrested. DSP Circle Takht Bhai, Sajad Khan said Noor Alam told them his son Samiullah went missing while he was playing in front of their house. The family tried searching for him in the area, but was unable to recover the minor. Alam added he later received a call from an unidentified number and the caller demanded Rs7 million in ransom. Police officials initiated an investigation and raided a house in Spalano Dheri Tuesday night. The accused, Sher Zada, was arrested and Samiullah was recovered from the spot.
