Nation should brace itself for tough times, warns Altaf Hussain
Sindh government initiating a campaign against Muhajirs, claims MQM Chief.
Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain advised the nation, and particularly the Muhajir community, to prepare itself physically and mentally for tough times ahead, Express News reported on Wednesday.
Condemning the alleged recovery of Indian-made weapons from an MQM office, Altaf said that false accusations are being levelled against the party.
He also accused the Sindh government and the administration of initiating a campaign against Muhajirs in the country.
The MQM Rabita Committee also demanded that Karachi Additional IG Shahid Hayat be removed from his post “in order to save Pakistan”.
On Tuesday, Rangers raided the MQM Landhi office and seized Indian-made illegal weapons.
They also arrested an MQM activist, Syed Kazim Abbas Rizvi, along with three others for their alleged involvement in the murder of public prosecutor Naimat Ali Randhawa.
During the initial investigation, Rizvi had confessed to his involvement in the killing.
