Defaulters: FESCO recovers Rs1 billion in Sept
Rs330.32 million was recovered from defaulting government departments in August.

The Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) recovered Rs1.03 billion as detection bills from 410,000 default consumers in September, spokesman Tahir Sheikh said on Monday. He said a recovery campaign had been launched against chronic defaulters on the directions of the Fesco chief executive officer from September 1-30. He said 3,500 connections had been disconnected. In August 2013, he said, Rs30.18 million had been recovered from defaulters whose connections had been long disconnected. Rs330.32 million was recovered from defaulting government departments in August and September, he added.
