Caught in Murree: ‘Target killers’ handed over to Karachi police

The “assassins” were rounded up from guesthouses, motels and hotels of the country’s most popular vacation spot.

Fourteen target killers, who were arrested in Murree a couple of days ago, have been handed over to Karachi police on Friday.


The “assassins” were rounded up from various guesthouses, motels and hotels of the country’s most popular vacation spot on Wednesday in a joint operation carried out by intelligence agencies and Murree police.


Murree police claimed that all the detainees were on the run to avoid arrest in the operation launched in the port city.


Separately, as many as 17 suspects were apprehended during targeted raids conducted by Rangers in different parts of the city including Neelum Colony, Defence View, Sikander Goth, Pakistan Quarters, Cattle Colony, Bilal Colony, Chenasor Goth and Nazimabad No 3.


According to Rangers spokesperson, 17 notorious criminals including members of a banned outfit were arrested along with different weapons.
