MQM-H activist shot dead, party chief Afaq Ahmed demands justice

Saleem was shot multiple times and died on the spot while his driver, Wajid was also wounded in the attack.

KARACHI: An activist of the Mohajir Qaumi Movement-Haqiqi, Saleem Nabi, was shot dead in Malir area late Wednesday night.

He was travelling in his car with his wife, son and driver when unidentified motorcyclists opened fire. Saleem, 45, was on his way to meet his mother when the incident occurred.

He was shot multiple times and died on the spot while his driver, Wajid was also wounded in the attack.

The deceased had served in the labour division of the party.

The party chief Afaq Ahmed condemned the incident and demanded that government and law enforcement agencies arrest those responsible.

Four years ago, Saleem's brother Fahim Commando was also killed in the same area.

Someone wants to create a war like situations among different political parties as probably peace in Karachi doesn't suit them.
