Sindh trims Eid holidays to three days

KARACHI:

The Sindh government has revised the Eidul Azha holiday schedule, reducing the break from four days to three, according to a notification issued on Saturday.

Under the new schedule, public holidays will be observed from May 26 to May 28 (Tuesday to Thursday), corresponding to 9th to 11th Zil Hajj 1447 Hijri. Meanwhile, the government has declared May 29 (Friday) as a work-from-home day across Sindh. However, institutions providing essential services will remain exempt from this arrangement.
