Pakistan Customs seize 225kg cocaine

Pakistan Customs seize 225kg of narcotics assumed to be cocaine at the Karachi port.

KARACHI: Pakistan Customs have seized 225kg of narcotics at the Karachi port which is assumed to be cocaine worth over two billion rupees.

Pakistan Customs, during their regular checks, seized a consignment of cocaine being imported from South America.

According to Pakistan Customs officials, samples have been sent for laboratory testing after which the nature of the drugs will be declared.

If the laboratory tests confirm it to be cocaine then it will be the biggest seizure of cocaine ever seized in South Asia.
