Get The Look: Summer Breeze
Sharina keeps it straightforward. Who doesn’t love a voluminous, easy-breezy hairdo?
We have always been fans of women who keep it simple yet sassy at the same time. Hair and make-up artist Hina Yousaf was recently spotted at the launch of L’oreal Paris Academy in Karachi in a simple, off-duty ensemble looking chic to the core. Here is a breakdown of what she wore:
Hair
Sharina keeps it straightforward. Who doesn’t love a voluminous, easy-breezy hairdo? Hina left her long, shiny hair open giving it a nice, volume blow-dry. While hair looks falls perfectly on her shoulders, we are so digging the trendy highlights. Hit your nearest salon for similar streaks but make sure to pick one that best suits your complexion. Apply a slight amount of untangling serum and use a paddle brush while blow-drying. Use a thick barrel round brush to curl the ends inwards.
Outfit
Kudos to Hina for choosing a different shade of skinny jeans – blues and blacks are way too common. Check out Mantra (Rs2,500) or Next (Rs4,500) for a similar pair of Khaki skinnies. She paired it with a subtle powder blue chiffon top which can be easily found in places like Debenhams (Rs2,500) and Mango (Rs3,000.
Make-up
Unlike many South Asian women who often resort to nude or brown make-up, we are glad that Hina went for subtle shades of pink – they are truly refreshing. Try out Maybelline’s Dream Bouncy blush in Pink Frosting shade for the cheeks and Maybelline’s Colour Whisper lipstick in Rose of Attraction shade for the lips. For well-defined eyes like hers, apply Mac’s Glimpse of Flesh eye shadow on the lids and line your eyes with Bourjois Ultra Black kohl pencil and Rimmel’s Glam Eyes Day 2 Night mascara.
Accessories and Shoes
Flip flops are summer staple footwear and they look uber-chic when paired with khakis. A similar pair of leather flip flops can be found at Accessorize (Rs3,000) or Hush Puppies (Rs4,000). Unfortunately, she got a bit overboard with simplicity by not wearing any prominent accessories. A nice statement necklace and a couple of bangles would have really brought the shine out.
