ISLAMABAD:
Islamabad gunman Muhammad Sikandar is fond of having fresh juices and meat dishes while he is hospitalised at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), Roznama Express reported on Friday.

He also doesn't like eating cooked vegetables.

According to the news report, around Rs0.2 million have been spent on his medical care, out of which around Rs0.1 million was spent on antibiotics.

Sources told Roznama Express that Sikandar’s medical expenditure has been currently deducted from the hospital’s budget.

PIMS spokesperson Dr Waseem Khawaja said Sikandar recently had his eyes tested and that the wounds inside his stomach and on the body are healing.

On August 15, accompanied by his wife and children Sikandar brought Islamabad to a standstill by waving two semi-automatic guns and occasionally firing into the air. Despite being surrounded by police personnel, Rangers and Anti-Terrorism Squad, Sikandar continued the hold-up for over five hours, at the end of which both him and his wife were arrested.
