KARACHI: The Sindh High Court directed the family of Shahzeb Khan on Tuesday to file the complete documents necessary to proceed with their pleas seeking compromise of the murder with the four convicts.
Earlier, the victim’s parents and sisters had filed applications stating that they had pardoned the convicts - Shahrukh Jatoi, Nawab Siraj Talpur, Nawab Sajjad Talpur and Ghulam Murtaza Lashari - without any pressure, coercion or interest, but in the name of Allah.
On June 7 this year, an Anti-Terrorism Court had sentenced Shahrukh and Siraj to death, while Sajjad and Ghulam Murtaza were sentenced to life imprisonment, after finding them guilty of murdering 20-year-old Shahzeb Khan over a petty dispute in the Defense Housing Authority on the eve of December 25, 2012.
The applications have been filed by the victim’s father DSP Aurangzeb Khan, mother Ambreen Khan and sisters, Parishey and Maha. All the legal heirs individually stated that they waived the right of Qisas and Diyat and pleaded to the court to acquit the convicts.
Raising the pre-admission objections, the head of the SHC’s Criminal Branch asked the applicants to file other relevant documents required to proceed with their pleas.
An anti-terrorism appellate bench of the high court will take up the compromise applications along with the appeals filed by the four convicts.

I wonder why Shahzabs family wanted justice? When justice is done than why to pardon the killers on the name of Allaha. We fallow Saudi Arabia where Hundered of Pakistanies are beheaded very years for different crimes and no one pardon the on the name of Allaha. What is so different in this case. There must be some thing . Shahzabs family has wasted time and money of this poor country,they must pay full cost of the court.
Sell selling sold..... ATC shouldn't release them or else it will provide alot of people a license to kill.
