Three bodies found in Nowshera

NOWSHERA:

Three bodies, including two beheaded ones, were found from various areas of Nowshera district on Monday.

An official of District Headquarters Hospital said two bodies were found in the remote Darwagai area of Cherat, while another was found in Baba Jee Kallay in Risalpur.

A police official said locals found the bodies and informed them, following which police arrived at the spot and shifted the deceased to the hospital. “The bodies were unidentifiable and one was severely mutilated,”he added.

No one claimed the deceased individuals and they were later buried. An FIR has been registered by police against unidentified persons.

The discovery of the bodies created a wave of panic among locals. On August 6, three tortured corpses of women were found in gunny sacks near Kabul River
in Nowshera.
