CAIRO: An Egyptian military court sentenced 11 supporters of the deposed president Mohamed Mursi to life imprisonment on Tuesday on charges of attacking the army, a military source said.

The men were accused of wounding seven soldiers and throwing petrol bombs at military buildings in the city of Suez on August 14, the same day when the Egyptian army massacred scores of people protesting in Cairo’s camps demanding Mursi’s reinstatement.
