Reshuffle: NHSRC sends officials packing
Around 12 top officials have been sent back to their parent department or asked to report to Establishment Division.
ISLAMABAD:
Ministry of State for National Health Services, Regulation and Coordination (NHSRC) witnessed a major reshuffling on Friday amid a row of corruption charges against some senior officials and their poor performance. “Their performance was unsatisfactory due to which the health sector instead of improving was worsening,” Minister of State for National Health Services, Regulation and Coordination Saira Afzal Tarar said. Talking to The Express Tribune, she said around twelve top officials have been either sent back to their parent department or have been asked to report to the Establishment Division. She said that new appointments have been made to replace them and more in process.
