WAZIRABAD: Five hundred years old and currently surrounded by garbage, Wazirabad Dak Chowki is falling apart.

Located on GT Road in Wazirabad, Dak Chowki is a mail station dating back to the Mughal era. The dilapidated historical site has not been restored despite funds having been issued for its repair.

Ten years ago, large craters surrounding Dak Chowki were filled with trash and even now, trash from the surrounding areas is sent here, Education Expert Dr Asif says.

A resident of the area, Muhammad Hussain Manzoor suggested that protective walls should be constructed around the area to safeguard it, so that people can benefit from the historic location.

Is there any value of history and historical places in my country? Who cares if this site is also destroyed like many others?
