A total of 11 awards were given to medical colleges with the Southern Illinois University and AKU bagging five awards between them. AKU was one of only two colleges to be presented the Excellence in Student Assessment Award.
Additionally, AKU was one of six colleges to receive the Excellence in Student Engagement Award. “AKU has established itself in the international arena of medical education,” said Dr Rukhsana Zuberi, while accepting the award on behalf of AKU.

Indeed a proud day for AKU! However, AKU needs to strengthen and invest further - build up and expand so that it becomes one of the best UNIVERSITIES out there, not just a top-notch medical school. Each laurel entails even more hard work and commitment.
This is such good news! Feeling proud to be an AKU grad :)
