SARGODHA: Seven people were shot dead and one was injured on Thursday by unidentified assailants. The injured man was taken to district headquarters hospital, where he was reported to be in a critical condition. Police said the deceased had all looked after cattle at the dera of a landlord. The bodies were sent for post-mortem examination. The district police officer arrived at the scene and ordered an investigation into the incident.
