According to an official of the Chitral police, a passenger jeep, en route to Reij, fell in a gorge in the mountainous region of Mastuj. Two people were killed on the spot and six were injured. The residents took the bodies and the wounded to DHQ where three more succumbed to their injuries. The official said the mishap occurred due to the negligence of the driver who was also critically injured in the accident.
