Balochistan MPA found dead in his home

During the general elections on May11, he had won from the constituency of PB-49 Kech II.

TURBAT:
Leader of the National Party and a member of the Balochistan provincial assembly Mir Azeem Buleidai was found dead at his residence in Turbat on Tuesday.

Buleidai’s body with a gunshot wound was discovered at his Airport road residence in the southern Balochistan city, police official Inam Ahmed told The Express Tribune.

The body was shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital, Turbat, where he was pronounced dead by the doctors. They said that he had suffered a bullet wound in his neck, causing the fatality.

According to some of Buleidai’s relatives, the MPA had retired to his bedroom at 3am armed with his Kalashnikov.

Buleidai did not emerge from his room for the entirety of the day. Concerned, family members broke the door to his room to find him dead. The rifle was found close to him.

It was not apparent whether the MPA had committed suicide.


Ahmed though confirmed the death as suicide and added that the body has been handed over to his relatives for burial.

 

The MPA will be laid to rest in his native town of Bulieda.

 

Buleidi had been elected in to the assembly for the firsts time after having successfully contesting the May 11 elections from PB -49-Kech II.
