KARACHI:

The security arrangements for Independence Day should be revamped in the province, announced Sindh Inspector General Police Shahid Nadeem Baloch.

He reviewed security arrangements in a meeting and said that details need to be compiled for the celebrations planned at Quaid-e-Azam’s mausoleum and at educational institutes. “The area police and Rangers should provide foolproof security for programme participants,” added Baloch. The Sindh IGP directed the police coordinate with city administration and ensure strict compliance with the security arrangements.
