Explosion in lyari: Owais Muzaffar calls attack ‘conspiracy’

Says peace was being disturbed deliberately to create chaos and anarchy in the city.

KARACHI: Sindh minister for local bodies Owais Muzaffar has called the Lyari bomb explosion as part of a planned conspiracy to disturb the peace of Karachi. The prevailing peace was being disturbed deliberately to create chaos and anarchy  in the city. He expressed his condolences over the deaths of the innocent citizens killed in the Lyari bomb explosion, which took place outside a football stadium on Wednesday and led to the deaths of seven people. A planned conspiracy was being hatched but, with the power of the masses, the present government would foil all such conspiracies, he promised. He said the government would leave no stone unturned to arrest the terrorists and take all measures for the safety of the citizens. He prayed Allah give the departed soul eternal peace and give courage to the bereaved family to bear these tragic losses.

Same old nonsense and meaningless statements from government officials instead of taking concrete steps and removing root causes of these evil events. What does it mean to say: "Lyari bomb explosion as part of a planned conspiracy to disturb the peace of Karachi" and "expressed his condolences over the deaths of the innocent citizens," and "government would leave no stone unturned to arrest the terrorists." These inhumane things have been happening for over couple of decades now, so when does the Government want to take it seriously and actually do something about it??? It is a well known fact that football is overwhelmingly a passion of the Baloch community and is mostly played by them in this country. Is'nt it logical to question whether this bombing is in direct retaliation to the recently executed Punjabi laborers in Balochistan by the BLA??? As evil as it is to target youngsters, or any human being for that matter, BLA needs to think that you cannot throw stones when you live in glass houses yourself.
