Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Monday approved a 16- member cabinet committee for proposing framework on making departments more effective.
MPA Qazi Adnan Farid from Bahawalpur has been included as a member and Provincial Minister for Communication and Works Malik Tanveer Aslam will chair the committee.
Other members of the committee are: Provincial Minister for Irrigation Mian Yawar Zaman, Provincials Minister for Finance Mian Shujaur Rehman, Minister for Environment Col Shuja Khanzada, MPA Hashmi Jawan Bakhat, Advisor to the Chief Minister Dr Ijaz Nabi, Additional Chief Secretary, Chairman Planning and Development and Secretary Finance Khawaja Salman Rafique, Metro Bus Authority Managing Director Sibtain Fazle Halim, Engineering Consultancy Services Punjab (Pvt) Limited CEO Karamatullah Chaudhry, Agriculture Secretary Dr Ijaz Munir, Lahore Development Authority Director Ahad Cheema and Implementation Secretary to the Chief Minister Nabil Ahmed Awan.
