Shahzeb khan murder case: Bail of Shahrukh Jatoi’s brother extended

Nawab Ali Jatoi who helped his brother Shahrukh Jatoi escape from the country using fake travel documents.

KARACHI: Justice Syed Hasan Azhar Rizvi of the Sindh High Court extended the protective bail before arrest on Tuesday, which was granted earlier to Nawab Ali Jatoi who allegedly helped his brother Shahrukh Jatoi escape from the country using fake travel documents. Nawab Jatoi was granted protective bail by the high court on June 18 to surrender before the trial court, where case regarding Shahrukh’s illegal escape is pending trial. Two days after Shahzeb Khan’s murder on December 24 last year, the prime suspect, Shahrukh Jatoi, had escaped from the country, allegedly aided by his elder brother, Nawab Ali Jatoi, officers of the national flag carrier and a private travel consultancy firm. The Federal Investigation Agency’s anti-human trafficking police had registered case 29/2013 under Sections 419 and 109 of the Pakistan Penal Code, read with Sections 3, 4 and 6(1) of the Passport Act 1974.
