Agricultural Research: Govt to set up institute in Sibi
The government is determined to provide maximum facilities to livestock holders of the province.

The federal government will establish a modern High Value Research Institute in Sibi where advanced research on fodder crops, oil seeds, horticulture, dairy and poultry products will be conducted by the scientists. Pakistan Agriculture Research Council (PARC) sources told APP that the proposed institute will function under it. “Balochistan has enormous potential in the livestock sector and the federal government will make every effort to make the most out of it,” they said, adding that the veterinary research institute in Quetta had successfully prepared animal vaccinations which will help effectively cure the diseases among livestock in the province. The government is determined to provide maximum facilities to livestock holders of the province and will soon launch several projects in this regard.
