Energy: Action to be taken to curb electricity, gas theft

241 polling stations has been established for the by-polls; 126 in PP-289 and 115 in PP-292.

Special teams were constituted on Tuesday to control gas and electricity theft.

A meeting of the load shedding management committee was held under the supervision of Commissioner Asadullah Khan. The commissioner said that electricity load shedding schedule should be fixed and malfunctioning transformers repaired at the earliest. Later, a divisional coordination committee reviewed preparations for by-polls in RY Khan’s PP-289 and PP-292 were reviewed. The regional election commissioner told the meeting that 241 polling stations had been established for the by-polls; 126 in PP-289 and 115 in PP-292.
