Attacked: Six injured over children’s fight

Some of Hanif’s family members who tried to save him, were also injured.

GUJRANWALA: In Kamoke, six people were injured when some adults fought over a children’s quarrel. Muhammad Hanif, a resident of Mananwala, said his sons quarrelled with some children while playing in the street. He said he and some other elders took the children away. A few hours later, he said, Rashid Saeed Butt and Umar Butt, visited his house and accused him of shouting at their children. He said he told them he had not shouted at any of the children, yet the three men beat him up. Some of Hanif’s family members who tried to save him, were also injured. The six injured were taken to a hospital, from where they were later discharged.
