Hit And Run: Indian diplomat ‘beaten up’

An official working at an intelligence agency said an Indian diplomat hit a car occupied by some youth and sped off.

ISLAMABAD:
An Indian diplomat was reported to have been beaten up by “unidentified youth” after he was involved in an alleged hit and run incident on Nazimuddin Road in Islamabad late Thursday night.

An official working at an intelligence agency said an Indian diplomat, Mr Gogna, working as an attaché, hit a car occupied by some youth and sped off.


Later, they stopped his car at Nazimuddin Road and allegedly manhandled him.

The Indian official is said to residing at F-6 sector in Islamabad. However, police did not confirm the incident.
