A dinner reception was hosted by the Officers Welfare Association Shah Abdul Latif University in honour of vice-chancellor Dr Parveen Shah for resolving the problems of her staff on priority basis.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Shah said that she was proud of her team which has always supported her and helped her restructure the administration. “With the grace of Allah and support of my team, we have successfully managed to get SALU to climb to the seventh position in the top ranking public sector universities.”
Dr Shah further said that despite financial crunch a sizable number of officers have been promoted on seniority-cum-merit basis.
Muhammad Tahir Khan, chairperson Sindh Universities Officers Federation, said that he was thankful to Dr Shah for always taking the lead in solving the problems of her staff and assured her that SALU Officers Welfare Association will continue to discharge its duties with dedication and commitment.
