Monsoon preparations: KESC activates rain emergency plan
Power utility has advised the general public to keep away from fallen wires and wet electric installations.

Ahead of the monsoon season, Karachi Electric Supply Company (KESC) has put into force its Rain Emergency Plan-2013 to improve its capability to restore power.
A statement on Tuesday said that KESC intends to manage the increased workload as a consequence of rains through effective coordination.
It said that the power utility has advised the general public to keep away from fallen wires and wet electric installations.
