KARACHI:
The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has demanded the government protect the people of the Kutchi community.
At a press conference, MQM Rabita Committee member Amir Khan urged the authorities to take notice of the thousands of Kutchi residents who were being forced to migrate to Thatta and Badin.
“It is the responsibility of the government to safeguard the lives of the people. In this case, the government is, however, acting like a silent spectator,” said Khan.
