Over a dozen workers of the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaaf were injured in an attack on their rally in Latifabad town on Friday.
Led by the local PTI leader, Mustansir Billah, the workers were protesting over sanitation problems and the general lack of cleanliness when they were allegedly attacked by supporters of a particular political party who were armed with sticks and batons. The rival party members also resorted to aerial firing to disperse the protesters.
The incident occurred near Khuda Hafiz chowk in Latifabad Unit 12. Billah, whose house was earlier attacked after the killing of PTI leader, Zahra Shahid Hussain, accused the workers of a political party for attacking them. “We were holding a peaceful protest against the civic agencies. They attacked us without a reason,” he asserted. The injured were shifted to Civil hospital. The police have yet to register an FIR.

@saeed: But abusive PTI Troll is there to terrify the social media:))
@Ali: The party... which is not named openly.. its party workers are Namaaloom Afrad:D guess who???
Umer is the new MQM internet man after Aysha M, mrs ahmed etc.
ET should openly name the party. Just like they name any other party
Could it be the PPP? Who am I kidding, its the MQM!!!
MQM, always reliable!!!!
ET is so gutless. I cant believe you guys call yourself news reporters!
@Umer: Lol no I don't think everyone knows what your active imagination thinks. Have you tried writing fiction stories? You would be really good at it :)
Also it's KPK not PKP.
If it was other way around you would see how ET and other media would have used PTI name that they attacked the other political party..they will never get scared then..whyyy??? because PTI is a party without militant wing...what a shame independent media..
Why don't PTI try to deliver in PKP instead of trying to do this drama in other provinces? Everyone knows PTI is a Takht-e-Lahore party which has no problem with mutilated bodies in Baluchistan or the loss of revenue or resources of Sindh to Punjab.
They won't name the political party because they don't want their offices burnt down & their scribes killed. But the more we bow to them the more bold they will become. So name & shame them.
So ET,
Why wont you name the "particular political party"?
Particular political party? ET you advocate freedom of speech now take advantage of freedom of speech and name that party? charity begin at home.
who is that rival party with arms????? any guess now?????
et should name the rival party...party of na maloom afraad
Brave people of ET, how about naming that 'political party'? Is it 'Namaloom Afraad'?
MQM - why Tribune hesitates from naming the particular political party? Always restoring to Half information.
ET, I just checked with EC website again. There is nothing registered as "Rival Party". So either name it or don't post vague fluff at all.
