In remembrance: Reference held for judge’s driver
Saleem Mandhro, who was working for Justice Maqbool Baqar and died in an attack on his boss last week.
KARACHI:
The Sindh High Court held a condolence reference for its driver Saleem Mandhro, who was working for Justice Maqbool Baqar and died in an attack on his boss last week. References are usually organised for either the judges or lawyers, however, this reference stood as an exception. Mandhro, a faithful employee, was killed along with nine others in a bomb blast aimed at the Justice Baqar’s convoy on June 26. Justice Faisal Arbab presided over the reference, which was attended by other high court judges. The reference was also attended by all the employees who worked with the driver, all the way from clerks to high court judges. A Quran Khawani was also held afterwards.
