Trade enhancement: FPCCI, Taiwanese counterpart sign MoU

The MoU will provide a roadmap for enhancing trade and investment collaboration.

Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) President Zubair Ahmed Malik has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), which will help develop trade and commercial ties between Pakistan and Taiwan.


Malik met the President and CEO of TAITRA Yuen-Chuan Chao and discussed matters of mutual interest, said a statement released by the FPCCI here on Thursday.

President FPCCI said the MoU is a historic development in Taiwan-Pakistan trade relations and will provide a roadmap for enhancing trade and investment collaboration.

Talking to local media in an interview, Malik said the exchange of sector-specific trade delegations and a proactive involvement of the business community of both the countries can enhance bilateral trade relations.
