ISLAMABAD:

The ambassador of Morocco has suggested that Pakistan’s businessmen can organise Economic Day for Morocco and invite Moroccan businessmen to explore new avenues of cooperation between the two countries. In this regard, his embassy will do maximum to facilitate and make the event successful.

Speaking to the business community at the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Ambassador Mustafha Salahdine said Morocco wanted increased trade with Pakistan as the two countries had good potential to promote bilateral trade in different areas.

So far, according to Salahdine, trade and economic cooperation is not in line with the good brotherly relations and “we have to work hard to improve trade as both are good markets for each other’s products.”

Exchange of trade delegations is another effective tool that can identify trade potential and export products, he said.
