Fashion Police: Prison Break

Meesha Shafi gets it wrong for the first time.

Personally, we love Meesha Shafi — her toned body, singing and acting skills are all great. And that is why it gave us great pain to feature her on Fashion Police. Meesha has a great sense in style but this time, she has left us disappointed. She was dressed in all-striped ensemble at a press conference of Project Pakistan — a collaboration between Elan and biking enthusiast Moin Khan — at Veranda Bistro in Lahore on June 26.

Hair

Meesha has a decent head of hair and it would’ve probably been her saving grace if she let it down! This ‘champoo’ oiled look is just not working for us. If she had chosen a different hairstyle, it would’ve taken our attention off her overly-striped ensemble.


Make-up

Meesha plays it safe with the make-up. She looks gorgeous with this subtle look. However, it wouldn’t have hurt if she put a little eyeliner on and toned down on the red lipstick. The Jugni Jee days are over!

Accessories

Meesha keeps it cute with a pair of pearl studs. Had she added a watch or perhaps a funky bracelet, she could’ve scored more points in this category. Even a long gold necklace would’ve done the trick!

Outfit

The multi-talented diva got it all wrong this day. There are too many stripes! We individually adore her top and palazzos. Had she paired the top with a pair of jeans or the palazzos with a plain white top, the diva would’ve sizzled. However, this jailbird has left us disappointed. Sigh.

Bail out!

Blake Lively



If Meesha was so insistent on wearing palazzos then she could’ve gone with a more semi formal look like Gossip Girl star Blake Lively.

She sizzles in these baby pink palazzos and baby pink top paired with a snake-skinned belt and turquoise beaded necklace.

Her jute heels make her look sexy and confident.

Rachel Bilson



The actor looks like funky and chic with this casual look.

Her loose jeans and striped top give her a hip look and that willowy hair makes her look hot and gives her a good look for the summer.

Taylor Swift



The singer looks hot and fresh in this summery striped look.

The diva sports smoking red skinny jeans paired with a black and white striped top.

Her hairdo looks fun tied up with those classic Way Ferrers.
