Goodwill Visit: Chief secretary visits Edhi in hospital
He presented a bouquet and conveyed the chief minister’s goodwill message.
KARACHI:
The provincial chief secretary, Muhammad Ijaz Chaudhry, paid a visit to the Sindh Institute of Urology and Transplantation (SIUT) to inquire about the health of renowned philanthropist, Abdul Sattar Edhi, who is undergoing treatment at the institute.
He presented a bouquet and conveyed the chief minister’s goodwill message. Chaudhry also met SIUT chief Dr Syed Adeebul Hassan Rizvi and appreciated the role of the institute in providing treatment to patients, including Edhi.
He assured the SIUT chief of full cooperation from the provincial government and advised the health secretary to strictly monitor hospitalised patients and provide them with adequate facilities.
