Remembering A Leader: SZABIST pays tribute to Benazir

KARACHI: A seminar was organised by the Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology (Szabist) on June 21 to celebrate the 60th birth anniversary of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, the founding chancellor and the chairperson of the institute.

The keynote speaker at the session was the former federal minister and senior political leader, Professor N.D. Khan.

While addressing the seminar he said that Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto was a brave leader and Benazir Bhutto fought for democracy in Pakistan.

She was an intelligent woman and her major contribution was to continue her father’s dream to bring prosperity to Pakistan, said Khan.

The seminar was attended by Szabist president Dr Saqib Rizavi, academics vice-president Dr Amanat Ali Jalbani, board of trustees secretary Dr Suleman Shaikh.
