Actor says the sole priority in his life right now is his career.
These days the actor is keeping himself busy shooting for his upcoming films; he is promoting his film Lootera which co-stars Sonakshi Sinha. It is releasing next month.
Appreciating co-actor Sonakshi’s managerial skills, Ranveer says he hardly has time for himself.
“It [life] is very off balance right now. It is completely skewed one way. I don’t have much of a personal life. You promote one day... you shoot all night. There really isn’t any time right now for a personal life,” Ranveer said.
“I think it’s alright because we are in our late 20s... we need to consolidate a career that’s just taken off,” he added.
The heartthrob praised Sonakshi for committing to multiple projects a year and said he learns the art of dealing with work pressure from her.
“We work double shifts — something I am very new to, which Sonakshi does all the time. She is such a busy actor. She has five releases a year,” said the 27-year-old actor. “She makes so many movies a year. She is one of the busiest actors in the business. I learn how to tackle the load of your professional life from her.”
After Lootera, Ranveer will be seen alongside actor Deepika Padukone in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film Ram Leela which is set to release in November.
“I try and take out some time for friends and family to rejuvenate and recharge myself so that I can tackle my work afresh. But, yes, the sole priority in my life right now is my career,” added the hunk.
The period romance Lootera, is slated for a July 5 release.
