Dozens of primary school teachers appointed by the Pakistan Peoples Party government during its previous tenure staged a protest on Tuesday as they have not been paid their salaries for nine months.

The rally started at the main roundabout of Ubuaro Town and ended outside the press club, where the protesters demanded their pay.


The teachers said they were performing their duties regularly but the government had not paid them since they were appointed nine months back.
