Almeena Ahmed talks about her Pakistani identity and the media's portrayal of Pakistan over the years.
A British Pakistani, who works for BBC London and visited Islamabad during the recent elections held in Pakistan, speaks of her excitement prior to the visit, having never visited the place before.
Ahmed particularly focuses on being able to pitch stories that are not in line with the stereotypes created by the media and its focus on what 'bleeds'. Women in Pakistan make it to the top of her list.
Natural disasters, political corruption and terrorism are the three top stories that come from Pakistan today. A young country with a troubled past, Ahmed would like for both sides of it's image to be put forward for the people of the world. There is a lot of good happening in the country and it needs to be focused on.
