The court issued a notice to the secretary of schools and sought a reply within a week.

LAHORE:
The Lahore High Court on Monday sought a reply from secretary of schools on a petition challenging the collection of fees for three months of summer vacation by private educational institutions. The petition stated that private institutions were collecting fees from students though the schools were not in session and requested the court to declare collecting fees during summer vacation as illegal. After hearing initial arguments, the court issued a notice to the secretary of schools and sought a reply within a week.
