@Karachiwala:
Falling again wouldn't serve the purpose since the elections are now done and dusted. He would try to pull a similar stunt again in 2018 but by then it would be spontaneous due to his advanced age. >>> Wink <<<
@Karachiwala:
I hope you realize how vile, repulsive and obnoxious your statement is!
@Adnan Siddiqi:
If dimwits are allowed to sit on a keyboard and spew nonsense, why can't a great man go around the world on his own expense to raise funds for a good cause?
Are sitting MNAs allowed to take extended leave from the parliament and go about jet-setting around the globe soliciting donations, zakat and chanda money for a cancer hospital?
@Aysha M: He definitely don't need the acumen of ur Altaf Hussain, Zardari and Nawaz..we love IK for what he is!
Any good going to happen for Pakistan because of this?
Imran Khan remind me of great Pakistani leader Bhasani

@Showzup: Please read my figures carefully.. U are seconding my figures as correct.
@John the Baptist: @Zubair: All I did was wish him well, strong reactions are kind of unjustified.
Please review the proceedings of NA 2002-2008, Imran Khan at the age of 50 had no presence, absolutely lackluster performance. Hopefully in the last 5 years, he has gained political maturity and acumen to make substantial contribution
@Saad Saeed:
And what about the assorted cast of stooges who are currently the feather in the cap of the Holy Kaptaan? And one of those stooges who does not even feel any shame in admitting that he is one, is none other than Sheikh Rasheed. Speaks volume of your sanctimonious commentary on the politics of Pakistan wherein you are comparing the political exploits of none other than Jinnah with that of IK whose only struggle worth mentioning is a few hours jail time he spent in D.G. Khan back in 2007.
@Zubair: The figure for PTIs votes is 7,000,000 not 70,000,000
What is this..is he taking oath or climbing mount Everest.. everyday one headline for this..
Yeah yeah....
"For me this day is more important than PM's oath"
@ Ayesha M.... Idealism does not believe in realism like you have mentioned... We don't do maths .... Some statistics ..... 1937 election All India Muslim League led by Mr Jinnah only won a few seats even in Muslim states they lost poorly... Election 1937: Sindh (3) seat won Punjab (1) NWFP (0)
Election 1946 Sindh (28) NWFP (17) Punjab (75).... Moral of the story if you believe in your dreams give you 100% and leave it to God ...... Reference: Jinnah: India- Partition- Independence by Jaswant Singh
@Aysha M: How many have had massive electoral victories without being born in the establishment's arms? Both PPP and PMLN's benefactors have been dictators.
Have missed you sourly. Pakistani politics is lacklustre without IK. Time you get in the parliament and start swinging the bat.
@Aysha M: And one of those 2 leaders has been proven to be an ISI stooge. Guess who became the PM in 1990 election which have been declared by the Supreme Court of Pakistan to have been rigged? And by the way it always takes this much number of years if you are doing politics on your own and are not being supported by the secret agencies. Muhammad Ali Jinnah started his political career way back in 1913 and after 24 years his party suffered a major defeat in 1937. But just after 8 years he won a landslide victory in 1945. Dreams have no time frame. My Captain! Looking forward towards a memorable innings from you
Trust that he would behave inside the parliament and would not desecrate the sanctity of the house by dishing out the same old rant and vitriolic contempt for his opponents.
@Aysha M:
And so do you!
@Aysha M: Some thing is burning and burning hard ...All my sympathies with you!!!
Wellcome back Sir.
@Mohammad Ali Siddiqui: "A new and first time entry in the National Assembly" He had been an NA elect in 2002 elections. :|
@salman: He sure does need loads of it
Here is Imran's budget priorities--a full 23% of budget allocated to education! Way to go Imran--you do what you say--ALWAYS!
Education Rs66 billion
Health Rs22 billion
Police Rs23 billion
Developmental projects Rs118 billion
Environment Rs1 billion
Loan repayment Rs11 billion
Security Rs23 billion
Pension Rs24 billion
Tourism Rs0.8 billion
Kalash Special Package Rs0.1 billion
@Lahori: We have known two leaders who took less than 5 years to register massive electoral victory. If Imran Khan took 17 years to have a strength of 31 seats in the assembly, it would probably take PTI another 17 to gain majority to have IK as PM. Lets do the math here, another 17 years would take us into 2030 and Khan Saheb would be representing the youth of Pakistan at the age of 77
@Noble Tufail What about Mian Sahib? They have led the way on how to change their speeches from Jalsa style to pm style.
A new and first time entry in the National Assembly.
Let's see how Imran Khan take the matters concerning the country.
It entirely depends on his performance whether or not PTI will will the next general election.
Looking forward to some statesman like speeches in the parliament from Imran Khan in his second term as a parliamentarian, to say that his first stint was disappointing in the assembly would be an understatement. Good luck this time round IK, great to have you in the National Assembly, please build bridges and dont be an isolationist.
Mr.Imran Khan should establish a "KP Fund" and demand from people of Pakistan to contribute generously to the Fund..In few months we can generate billions of rupees and the Province don't have to go to donors like US, UK etc for donations. PTI secured more than 70,00,000 votes in this election and at an average if every voter pays 500 rupees, the calculations can be 500 X 70,00,000 = 3500000000= 3500 million rupees at one time !!! We contributed similar amount to Nawaz Sharif for (KARZ UTARO, MULK SAWARO) and he ate it up..but Imran is way TRUST WORTHY. Do you agree with the idea??
Oh Yes.......... We are waiting eagerly........
It's far more important than the oath of Prime Minister(NS).
The next PM InshaAllah!!!!
Will be waiting to see you in Parliament and fighting for Pakistan as always.
Best of luck Kaptaan !!!
Khan Saab no jalsa language in parliment .. rather a constructive criticism please.
