Estranged Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Fauzia Kasuri has agreed to rejoin the party without setting any conditions or demands, The Express Investigation Cell has learnt.
Kasuri, who is currently on a two-week personal visit to Dubai, has decided to resume her association with the party following a meeting with PTI chief Imran Khan in Lahore last week. Party sources say that she will formally take up the office of organising the overseas PTI wing when she returns.
“Imran Khan had personally contacted Ms Kasuri by telephone and this was followed by a meeting between the two in Lahore following which she decided to rejoin PTI”, a senior party leader said.
No conditions or demands were set by Kasuri, sources said. Neither did she ask to be a party candidate for the NA-48 by-elections in Islamabad. However, the party will ‘look into’ the issue which caused her to quit PTI temporarily.
As the PTI Women Wing chief, Kasuri had announced the parting of ways at a news conference on June 5. She had alleged that party operations were marred by nepotism and discrimination.
Following her announcement, the party had issued a detailed news statement debunking Kasuri’s statements.
But another PTI source said that her final word regarding rejoining the party will come after the Dubai visit. She had, however, briefed the women leaders in Islamabad about her reconciliatory meeting with Imran Khan.
Kasuri’s departure from PTI was widely lamented within and outside the party. She remained the face of the party, defending PTI’s stance on several TV shows, but developed differences with the party leadership on nomination of women for reserved seats in the National Assembly.

@ imtiaz Sir you need to do some research to find out the difference between Fauzia Kasuri and Ayla Malik. While old Fauzia Kasuri calls herself proverbial "mother of PTI", beautiful Ayla Malik is the real mother of PTI due to her marriage with Imran Khan Niazi http://abctv.com.pk/?p=730 Ayla Malik is a killing beauty who got divorce from her former husband to marry Imran Khan. Don't forget the bitter but realistic fact that Imran Khan's record about women has been dubious and women have always been his weakness!
@Mohammad Ali Siddiqui: I think such comments are not justified at all. Please be realistic and come up with matured comments after studying the whole story. She is not a lota like you are portraying here! Do you know how much she had given not just to PTI but also to the charitable work of Imran Khan? I have not seen a single dedicated die hard worker like her in any party leave aside PTI. You may say that it is my personal opinion but please do consider that such dedicated workers do need some appreciation.

There were scathing blogs written by Insafians on tribune against Ms Kasuri when she left PTI. Would those bloggers now write a counter blog in her favour if they really have some genuine shame in them?
@Mirza: About KP, there is no elected female MPA. And with coalition, PTI has to allot portfolios to elected representatvs than selected one's. Because elected representatvs are the real public representatvs and answerable to their voters while selected ones are not.

Fauzia has always been an invaluable asset of PTI.She is great fighter and made a significant mark on the newly born PTI.I welcome her decision to Play a greater role for the good of Pakistan.
PTI should do away with women membership, like they have done away with women voting rights in some parts of KPK
Knowing both sides as literate and cultured, I would have expected them to resolve issues behind the scenes instead of all this hoopla in the media. I hope we don't get to see any more of such stuff in PTI

that’s what happened in dictatorship and Monarchism. PTI seems going down with internal system and favoritism in a group. people should have an integrity while talking to media specially to women. PTI So called Dr. Shareen mazari did the same and now she is well spoken in PTI.

Fauzia left PTI after the press conference and then met with Begum Kulsoom Nawaz and joined PML(N).
Now she was called by Imran Khan and met with him and now she has stated that she is joining PTI once again.
Fauzia seems to be a politically immature lady who does not know what to do and where to go.
I have all the doubts in my mind that as soon as she will have some better choice from PTI, she will again quit PTI and will join some third political party.

What is with the PTI women, first Shireen Mazari and then Fauzia Kasuri. There is no discipline in this party. Nobody knows who or what to believe when it comes to PTI
What was all that dirty laundry in public and character assassination of the lady by the PTI leaders and trolls? It is about time that not just FK be given a position but also KPK women included in the govt. PTI cannot continue to ignore women if they want to represent them.
