Israel denies exporting military equipment to Pakistan
It is our policy to not export defence equipment to Pakistan, says Israeli ministry official.
Israel also categorically denied media reports of it exporting defence equipment to Pakistan, Press Trust of India reported on Wednesday.
“Israel does not export defence equipment to Pakistan. That is our stated policy and is implemented completely,” a senior foreign ministry official told the PTI.
Quoting a British government report, Israeli newspaper Haaretz reported on Tuesday that Israel exported military equipment to Pakistan and four other countries over the past five years.
“In addition to Pakistan, Israel has exported such equipment to Egypt, Algeria, the United Arab Emirates and Morocco,” the British report stated.
A spokesperson of the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Tuesday denied the news report, saying it was misleading and not based on facts.
