Disqualification: Petition against Sharif brothers dismissed
The court noted that the election process was over and the respondents had been elected.

The Lahore High Court on Tuesday disposed of a petition seeking disqualification of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Railway Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique telling the petitioner to approach the Election Commission of Pakistan.
The court noted that the election process was over and the respondents had been elected. The petitioner, Shahid Orakzai, had sought disqualification of the respondents for their alleged role in an attack on the Supreme Court. The petitioner said that the respondents had been convicted in the SC attack case but had not mentioned this in their nomination papers.
