Ill fortune: Nearly 30 injured in road mishaps
Security forces rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to Kohat Divisional Hospital.

Five security personnel were severely injured when a pickup truck skidded off the road in Kohat on Monday. A security official said the vehicle was en route to Kohat Cantonment from Lachi tehsil when it skidded off the road near Jarma police station and plunged into a pit, leaving five personnel injured. Security forces surrounded the area and shifted the injured to the Combined Military Hospital. Meanwhile, 23 people were injured, including fresh police recruits, when a passenger van en route to Peshawar from Hangu collided with a police van at Azadi Chowk near Darra Adam Khel, Frontier Region Kohat in the late hours of Sunday.
